Customer Service Representative

Role

Reporting to the Team Lead, Client Experience, this important and engaging role empowers the customer throughout their experience with Schenk. This role provides administrative support to the sales, production and shipping departments to ensure client deadlines are met and client appreciation is demonstrated along the way. Stilje product knowledge, customer service, excellent communication and attention to detail are key success factors in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Create a positive Schenk customer centric experience with all customers.
  • Respond to queries via phone, email, fax or walk-ins. Handle client inquiries relating to orders, pricing.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, production, delivery teams and clients.
  • Enter client production orders in a timely and accurate manner; expedition of orders and escalation to management as required.
  • Responsible for daily review of existing client orders from the point of the initial contact to tracking the order during production and ensuring successful client delivery and satisfaction.
  • Team player, contributes to creating and maintaining a collaborative, motivated, positive and productive team atmosphere.
  • Able to grasp various concepts with regards to manufacturing of the Stijle product
  • Strive to continuously improve the customer experience in a professional manner.
  • Participate in daily production meetings and ongoing learning of Schenk product lines, production and manufacturing processes.
  • File maintenance and report preparation for executives and clients as needed.

Qualifications

  • Three years of customer service experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), ability and desire to learn order entry software.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and communication skills.
  • Skilled at building strong positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Focus on resolving problems quickly with strong problem solving and following up skills.
  • Accountable, reliable and punctual.
  • Ability to understand and manage your customer’s expectations. Make customer interactions simple and easy; continuously improving service to enable a seamless and positive customer experience.
  • Passion and experience working in design is an asset.

Vice President of Operations

Role

As Vice President of Operations, you will report directly to the President. You will be responsible for the smooth and successful business operations, facilitating the manufacturing and distribution of leading edge, European inspired architectural components. The Vice President will introduce and implement new methods for optimizing operations, building successful teams, and enhancing corporate culture, focused on quality, customer service, people development and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement short and long term corporate strategy
  • Measure results of the strategy and report them to the President
  • Ensure broad strategic vison is communicated accurately and effectively to the management team
  • Review and report on company performance, sales targets, budgets, accounts and key performance indicators based on short and long term corporate strategy
  • Oversee management team in carrying out the strategy
  • Provide leadership for the overall operating performance of the business
  • Find new areas of growth and improvement in each of Schenk’s core areas in accordance with the overall corporate strategy
  • Evaluate operational processes and procedures, and develop strategies and implementation plans to improve and standardize all aspects of operations
  • Develop, monitor and administer financial programs to maintain efficient quality services
  • Develop new resources and new revenue streams
  • Manage day to day operations of Schenk
  • Work with management team to ensure clear reporting and information flow
  • Set clearly defined goals for each division and then measure the results against the goals
  • Plan, manage and lead operations, sales, marketing, and administration teams
  • Work with management team on developing employee compensation packages; including performance reviews and goal setting
  • Provide ongoing support and mentoring for the training and development of staff and enhance corporate culture
  • Implement corporate policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • At minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration
  • 10+ years in senior management position
  • Previous experience in sales and/or manufacturing setting
  • Longevity, team focused and a collaborative leader
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Availability for travel – up to two weeks per quarter
